RSSAdventures in Education
My new blog :) I thought, since I’m both terrified and elated at the prospect of having my own classroom within a year, I would blog about it. There’s not much yet, but there will be. Mostly anecdotes about my class(es)/students, lesson ideas, and education in general. Also, there will most likely be A LOT of me asking for advice on how to deal with a situation. In fact, that’s my first post. I’m currently dealing with rumor-mongering. :/

I'm a 22 year old Elementary Education major from New Mexico (well... South Dakota, originally, but New Mexico has adopted me). ;) Teaching is my professional (albeit fun) life. So tumblr is my escape. My place to be the other, crazier me. Where I can be an anglophile and not be mocked for it.
I am a massive Benedict Cumberbatch fan, probably to the point of unhealthy... nah, it's not quite THAT bad.
I'm also a fairly big fan of Tom Hiddleston. And Robert Downey, Jr. And... wait... too many to list. Let me direct your attention to my fandoms -->
I sincerely adore all of my fandoms, which (currently) include The Avengers, Sherlock, Cabin Pressure, Harry Potter, The Hobbit (and LOTR), and anything else that happens to catch my fancy. That's mostly what you'll find here.
But I also love reading. So there's quite a bit about books. And writing, though there's less of that, as I'm too busy writing a novel to do much fanfic. Oh, the novel? It's an assignment. WHAT was I thinking?
My other favorite hobby is recording awesome quotes, whether they're from a fandom or some brilliant person. If you search quotes, you'll find them. :)
